I have a RAV 4 turbo derv in Uk and I am having probs, it will stall during long journeys when I stop, then it wont re-start for about 20 mins, sounds like battery is flat labouring to turn over engine, leave it for awhile and it will fire up, had a new battery fitted to try to stop problem but did not solve problem, was suggested it is something to do with fuseable link, but dont understand what this is, where it is, and even if I have one, any helpers out there.

Sorry but don't know what or where the fuseable link is. Check voltage at battery terminals while car is running. Should have 14v. This is what the alternator puts out to supply vehicle and charge battery. If it's only 12.5v or less, then you're running off the battery and the alternator is NG.
