Let’s post this information to prevent unnecessary digging into the engine ECU (“computer”).
On 3SFE the following systems are not ECU controlled:

- Engine cooling fans
- Fuel pump
- Cold start injector system
- EGR valve (on 89 and on models the EGR sensor only tells how hot it is)
- Evaporation system
- Seat belts (they are using their own computer)
