i heard weird clanking on the front left side wheel then about 10 seconds
later the car just stopped (95 camry le)... now it just makes really weird
sounds when in drive or reverse, won't go and GET THIS, can be pulled up or
back while set in park with the motor off! anyone have any ideas? thanks in
advance

sounds (reads) like you snapped a CV joint........

If it is a clicking sound when you turn the wheel either direction the
cv joints may be ruined. Check the cv boots for damage. the clicking
sound is the main indicator. not too expensive to replace if you look
for the right shop. You WILL get a large range in prices and some
people trying to scare you. I have done it myself. Not technical
work, just hard work.

Thank you guys so much, you were right on, it was a snapped cv and i didn't
have to go to the mechanic without a clue about the situation. It cost $355
with towing (the guy recommended to replace the full axle)
