I have a 1997 4Runner SR5 and the center section of the rear bumper is rusted and I want to replace it. I see that you can buy just the center section on ebay. I went to the dealer and bought all new bumper bolts. They appear to be self tapping bolts,no nuts. Has anyone ever done this and should I also buy new bumper brackets as well? Will I also need the replacement bolts for the black plactice cover that goes over the bumper? Thanks in advance for any advice.
