Are you trying to mount a Taco bumper to your 89-95 or just using the brackets? I nead a bumper and can't find any good ones except Taco ones. I wasn't sure if I could maybe fab some brackets and make it fit.

i just am checking the mounts, i think the taco bumper is too deep and the tailgate will rub when you open it, not too sure tho but

I have had mine off my TOYota fo three years now, here in cali, I even notched my rollpan to allow better access to my "Chevy HD Tow Hook" recovery mods. Even if I had a bumper on, most of the cars here would smack my spring hangers if I was hit :)

i dont have one on my truck in texas, nor my truck home in the islands. . . . there are license plate mounts on the bed, so it is a good bluff if you get pulled over
