Rear strut bar?

1001 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  atobe
So I put in one of those ebay strut bars a little while back and it stiffined up the front really well but now the rear feels a little loose. So I was wondering if I could buy the same strut bar that I used for the front and use them on the rear. I know that I'll have to do some cutting to the carpet in the trunk but I dont know if the bolt pattern on the rear struts are the same or if the struts have an even surface to mount the strut bar on. You guys have any idea if this will work?

no such thing... the rear deck acts like one..... if you want to tighten up the rear end get bigger rear sway bar.
Where would I get one of those from? And for how much?
i got it from raptorracing in the vendor section while there was a groupbuy going on..i forgot how much it was.. 130$ + shipping i think... BTR38 is the part# ...you can ask him or you can order direct from http://www.globalperformanceparts.com/index.php
Ok I'll hit him up thanks alot

He's a good seller decent shipping but if I was you I'd just keep searching ebay for a 91 camry strut bar cause once and a while he'll actually post some for 1 cent with like 16 dollar shipping so that would be alot cheaper. I remember emailing him and asking him it the bar would fit a V6 and he said it wouldnt but I installed it on my V6 and it fit fine. Hope this was helpful to you.
or another way is goto the junk yard and get the bar off a es250
