hey guys...got my rear sway bar installed about a month ago. when i got it, there would occasionally be a creaking noise when i go over bumps..now when the weather is colder, i hear it more and more. i have nothing in the trunk. when i go over speed bumps, i go real slow, but once my rear wheels go up it...i hear the creaking...anyone else experience this and/or know how to remedy it?

That is correct the inner most is the stiffest. It’s like grabbing your arm at the wrist rather than the finger. If you put it in the middle it will drive better. I am even thinking of putting it on inner most hole.

My Sway bar came with a small tube of grease with it. Sayes something like special formula 1 grease or something on it. I just used that grease on it, not more than a small tube about the size of your pinky for two bushings.
To change the settings just jack up the car and unbolt (1 bolt only 14mm) on the links and change the hole and bolt it back on. It is very simple; just lift the car from both the sides. No extra force required other than tightening the bolts.

I brought my sway to get it done at the dealer and i saw that they used the grease. only thing is i have the sound....looks like i am taking it back to get them to redo it...they won't be an ass and charge me..will they? it's been less than two months.

and..when you say loosen one bolt...you mean, one bolt per side right?

cause jacks are not as stable as jackstands. A lot of jacks cannot stand side loads and can twist up at the worst possible time. The standard scissor type jacks have only a tiny plate on the floor side - not very stable.

Yes One bolt per side/link. The dealership should fix it free of charge.
