I was wondering if those with map light rearview mirrors or ones with compass feel loose when making adjustments.

Mine feels loose when I make adjustments and not sure if the torx is loose or the mating ball feature is loose. Thanks.

Torx screw is loose. Just snug it up and you are good to go.

I just thought of something. How does the torx screw control the grip on the ball if all it does is secure the mirror to the mating piece on the windshield?
