Our 2003 Sequioa rear window stopped working and I took apart the back panel to take a look. I searched this topic and it seems the 03 had some locking mechanism issues that could be solved fairly easy. Where exactly is this part and how do I adjust it. I also noticed that when using the window button the motor doesn't make any noise but I do hear a click on the driver side frame every 4 seconds but no noise at the motor. Is the motor bad rather than the lock? I called a friend of mine who is a Toyota Tech and he said it's probably the motor. He also said they replace them all the time and he wasn't familiar with the locking mechanism situation? The rear wiper still works fine....

Any suggestions? I took some pictures of the whole thing and I will try to post them to get some guidance.

Thanks:)

I get this from time to time on my 2001. I find that if I lift and re seat the rear wiper the window works fine. I came across this in another forum. There is a safety switch in the rear wiper. If the arm is not in the proper down position, the rear window will not work.

I tried that a few weeks ago but it didn't work. I think the motor may be bad because I can't hear it run at all when pushing the window button. I only get a clicking noise that comes from the side panel (drivers side).

Thanks for the help!:)
