My CompuStar 2WSS-AS alarm/remote starter will work with a manual trans and also a diesel with glow plugs.
It has awesome range, 6000 feet. It was really cold today and I started the truck from inside a steel building that is 600 yards away from where I parked. The truck was nice and toasty when I got in it. It has a 2-way system that will page you if your truck is being messed with, and you can check the truck's status at any time.

It retails for close to $500, but I got one brand new from a dealer on Ebay for $230, and then the install was another $250. Seems like a lot of $, but CompuStar is fairly top of the line stuff. Super long range and tons of features, especially if you want to control auxilary stuff like windows, neon, stereo, etc. I really love the LCD 2-way paging remote.Blackenedsrt-4 said:How much do you pay for this?
