How do i take off these emblems w/ pegs. You say fishing line/Floos and hairdryer. Well i've tried but because of the pegs, it won't go all the way. When I put the string in the crack and try to pull it out a lil, the trunk goes w/ it.

How do i remove this?

well the fishing line got the first half, the sticky stuff, out of the way, so now you just gotta be very carfull and maybe pry lightly, very lightly, around the points where the pegs are? that's how i did my honda's emblems with pegs. I even used a screwdriver, maybe put some plasic around the edges first.

Put some tape around the edge of a flathead and pry away. Isn't your mom gonna get pissed

Its a 626 and im parting it out.
It was my dads and he doesn't really care if i part it out. Same w/ my mom.

i did it with a key somehow i didnt scrath the car at all

i used a hairdryer and fishing line..and then i eventually got pissed off cause it took so long but it got the job done

^I did that on the first on but it was small. (DX emblem, same size as LE, CE) So it was much easier.

Now on this 626 and Mazda emblem, they won't budge at all. And im gettnig really pissed.

It does not run. I'm pretty sure the starter is broke.

Btw, I've heard that these 99' 626's had some kind of tranny design problems...So i dun think you would want it...
