just remove the screw that is on the rear inboard portion of the bed, then pull up the plastic, starting at the rear then working your way toward the cab. there are a series of plastic tabs that clip into the top sheet metal of the bed.
Does anyone know how to remove the plastic top caps from the bed? I have a scratch going under one of the caps and I want to fix it before it rusts too much.
I took mine off once just messing around and there is about 20-24 holes in the top of the bedrail. It looks like shit without the caps. Somebody needs to make a smooth paintable replacement like they do for chevys and fords.
