I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on how to remove the pins from the calipers so I can change my pads. they are stuck in place.

I'll assume you already sprayed the hell out of them. Break them free by whacking them in further. That way the tip isn't deformed and it will still slide out. If the pins bend, they're quite soft, just hammer them straight.

I hoped it wouldn't have to come to that, but thanks. Can I get those pins at any auto parts store?

You were going to re-use them? Tsktsk You should always change them if they are corroded.

Most parts stores should have them in a kit, with retainers and springs.

i had to buy new pads and a rotor last year, and i didn't get any pins with anything. i used the same ones that were installed already. then again, the only difficulty i had was changing out a rotor and both front pads with no instruction or guidance.
