My name is Theo and I've searched these threads for a solution but no luck.
The window is scratched badly and I'd like to replace it.

I have the new window; I have the door panel off and all the right bolts removed. The glass just won't slide out of it's rails and up out of the car.

I could use some help seeing as it's winter and I should never have started this project in the first place...

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

You need to loosen the window guide, maybe even remove most of it. There is a 12mm bolt about 6" under the hinge on the rear side of the door - that's the one holding the guide. Also, I don't remember for sure, but there may be another bolt holding the guide behind the inside triangular piece of trim, and you may need to loosen that one, too.

Hope this helps.

DC, Slavie...life savers. Thank you both. That wasn't as easy as I thought.

I appreciate the help.
