The Toyota shop manuals seem to be the most thorough and, I'd say, the best. The Chilton's is almost identical to the Toyota manual(s) and the Hilton seems to be the briefest. That being said each one has some information not found in the others. I get each one. You can often find them for sale on the used market. If you're on a budget I would recommend the Chilton's first.

The on-line versions mostly disappeared earlier this year. Some lawyer from Toyota harassed WEB masters to remove them. I was hoping to get some grass roots support here to complain to Toyota but no one else seemed to want to bother. I still believe that if we got a multi-national campaign going to write e-mails in to the powers-that-be that they might relent. Heck, I doubt if they even know that that lower echelon lawyer jumped down out throats. However, to do this we need the email(s) of some Toyota higher-up(s) as well as a large enough group to write in.

Oh, well,
Kep
