I have been looking on the internet for a replacement temperature control knob for my 1993 v6 XLE camry but all of the specified knobs look different than what i have. I saw this forum post http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/1...2001/353506-camry-94-heat-cold-knob-dash.html. None of the knobs in that picture look like mine.

There are multiple part numbers for the same knob... I don't know which would be mine. 5590506040 5590506050 5590506010 5590506030... I don't know which one would be mine.

Any help would be wonderful! Thx

mine broke, went to a junkyard to look, but they wanted like 20 bucks. Went to a dealer and got it for like 6. better then vice grips on the knob

i hope it comes with the switch atleast geeze all the junk yards are getting greety with there tax and environmental fees.

If it's a six cylinder, the surface is almost flush with the console. There might be a number embossed on the back of your control knob.

I'd call the dealer, tell them your VIN, ask for part# and price. Then you can start your shopping by calling other deals for a cheaper price.

I filled in the back of my knobs with epoxy and pushed them on over a small piece of friction tape over the shaft and they lasted another couple years.
