Hey there all! I'm new here and I'm gonna be asking a lot of questions. Have an 05 and I'm trying to get this baby kitted out with new equipment and upgrades etc... Here is my most recent issue: When my headlights are on, my reverse lights come on. I got pulled over a few days ago for it and would really appreciate some guidance on fixing this myself. Anyone know what causes this and how to DIY it?

The headlight and reverse light circuits should not share current. They are basically separate circuits so something has probably been "done" that connects them when it should not. chuckoff's suggestion is spot on, first place to check, faulty trailer harness wiring, probably providing power to the reverse lights when it shouldn't.

You will probably find that there is a power lead added to the reverse light circuit, somewhere in the trunk or under the rear bumper.

In the meantime pull the bulbs to avoid tickets.
