Just had Revos installed, gained 0.75 inch in the truck's overall height. I love them, it makes her look so grown up! :)

Before (H/Ts 265/65/17):

After (Revos 265/70/17):

No, just got them on yesterday. I'm interested in how much the mpg will go down but figure it's worth a little drop because at least I now have traction. I know I'll use 4wd less with these in the snow which will help mileage. I had to use 4wd around town if there was snow on the street. Hopefully won't have to as much or at all now.

I loved the way the truck felt stock and was a bit hesitant to change out the tires but now I like the feel even more. Looks much better, just as smooth and quiet as stock (or very close to), and will at least allow me to drive in places I wanted my truck to go. Plus it sits a tad higher.

I like the look of the 265/70/17:thumbup: size over the stock 265/65/17:thumbdown size. I have the michelin ltx m/s (not great for off-road) and have used 4wd only once in the winter (to pull my buddies mazda which wouldn't start at -35c), the stock tire are POS. Love the revos nice choice

Thanks, the best tire I'd ever owned previously was the Michelin LTX M/S. I had them on a Grand Cherokee '94 and they still had lots of tread at trade in time. Tons of traction in the snow I recall and quiet as well. Hope I like these Revos as much as I did the LTX's.

I'm running more or less the same size (except in 16"), and lost 2 mpg near as I can tell. But I went from 245/75/16 to the current size. I also had Michelin LTX M/S and LTX A/T's in the past, and so far I think the Revos are equal or better. I'll know more this spring when I can get out more, but they've handled the winter roads just fine up to now. For an A/T tire, they seem pretty quiet. Good luck, and enjoy!

When you calculate your mpg with this size tire, make sure you multiply your miles on the oddometer by 1.034 before dividing by gallons. You travel 1.034 miles for every 1.0 miles recorded by the oddometer. Not sure if you calculated for the larger size or not...

Yup, I've been doing the math, and my average is about 18-18.5 mpg, about 2 less than what I used to get. I can live with it. But since you're going from 265/70/17, you may not see that much of a decrease in mpg.

From your pics, it looks like you're at stock height. Do you have any rubbing? I do, but it's pretty minor and only at full lock.

Cheers
