I went to a shop today and they want to rape me on parts. I asked if I found them myself if they would install and said yes... I need control arm bushings (4), sway bar bushings (2) and a front engine mount.

I am hoping someone can tell me if I have the right parts since I will most likely be ordering off the internet and would hate to go through getting the wrong parts and having to return them, yada yada...

I have a 89 Camry 4 cyl, 2.0l Auto.

So, I looked all over the internet and I get two different pictures for the front engine mount and they dont make it very clear...

I think the right one is this: http://info.rockauto.com/Anchor/Detail.html?8192.jpg

and I think this is
for the all-trac... can someone please confirm??

Also, are these the correct control arm bushings?

Anyone that has done this before your help is appreciated!!

Thanks!

I got my front and rear engine mounts from Autozone for $25-$30 ea. They had the best price out of my options (Napa, Kragen, Pep-boys and Autozone). Check their prices online and they generally reflect what you would pay at the counter. They will tell you exactly which mount your car uses. I believe the only differences are the pre/post 1989 cars. Check out this thread for more info on the motor mounts.

As for the control arm bushings you may be better off getting them online. I bought my passenger side LCA and ball joint on eBay for $55 and picked it up in person. The only reason I recommend buying the entire piece is because I researched replacing the bushings only and they're pressed in so you might as well replace the control arm/ball joint for only a little bit more $$. With the prices on eBay being half of what the auto parts stores charge, its the best way to go IMO. Good luck whichever way you choose. :)

I wasn't even aware that you could buy the bushings separate from the mounts...never noticed that in all my hundreds of searches on eBay over the years. Nice option, especially if you can remove the mount yourself and have a friend press the new bushing in for you.
