yeah be careful with offsets and widths... I'd say the second ones with a mild drop would look perfect, the first ones look too "tuner wannabe" to me.

if they're 17x7 with a 40mm offset or so and 205/40-17 tires, I think you'll be safe.

What offsets are those?

I'd be careful going up to 17s

My 16s rubbed and made it a pain to drive anywhere.
It's not necessarily the size of the rims that determines whether or not you're going to rub, but the overall diameter of the rims+tires. 205/40/17 has pretty much the exact same overall diameter as the factory wheels, so there should be no rubbing. Your 16s are probably equipped with fat tires. Use this site to help you determine the best tire size for your car: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...er2=17&wheelwidth2=8&offset2=20&Submit=Submit

And to answer OP's question, between the two, I'd go for the first ones. Love the lips

I was trying to be nice. I don't like them either.
I'm supposed to be nice? o.o
lol

Might as well not post anymore then xD

But to each their own. If he likes them, he should hop on them.
Personally, simple steelies, or some clean looking lace style rims look great on these cars.
BTW, when you come up to Maine, bring the basket weaves, I want them wicked bad lol

Damn.
Well when and if you come up, PM me and we can get a few shots of the cars together.

But yeah, I'm a little blunt whenever possible.
If I care about someones feelings I hold back a little.

I always get the splined lugnuts because they come with a thin wall lug key. Sometimes with the regular style lugnuts the socket is too big for the hole or just barely fits and it can damage the wheel finish. With the thin wall key it give you some clearance between the socket and wheel to help prevent that.
