RK-Sport body kit installed!

11242 Views 16 Replies 13 Participants Last post by  JOHNNYTHN
I finally got my RK-Sport ground effects kit installed this weekend. The fit of the kit wasn't as good as I hoped, so there is a larger gap between the doors and the rocker panel than I would have liked. And I got a cheap paint job, so I hope the paint doesn't peel or chip. But I like the more aggressive look with this kit, which is more aggressive than the CamrySE bodykit. The car is dirty and it was raining all weekend, but I wanted to show everybody the finished car. I'll take some better pics when the weather gets better and I get a chance to wash the car.

Lived the first 31 years of my life in NYC, so I'll be a hardcore Giants fan for the rest of my life. It's trying to get my 1yr old son to be a Giants fan that will be the challenge. His favorite player is Eli Manning... or at least that's who I told him his favorite player is!

A small shop in Vallejo called Superior Automotive. He charged me $500 to paint the parts, with no installation. The paint job is just OK, not great, the paint has already peeled away near the mounting holes when the uerethane flexed while screwing it into place, and you can see some streaking in the paint if you look really close. But you get what you pay for. My local quotes were all around $1500 including installation, but I'm sure the quality would have been much better. But I didn't want to pay a lot, so I am satisfied with what I got.
Not bad!
wow.. a front lip with tch grill looks alot better than i thought it would! almost looks like a completely different front end compared to the ones with a SE grill. clean car man! i like it!
Had a chance to wash the car this weekend, here is a cleaner pic...

I've always wanted the SE/RK body kit, I guess i've been kinda hoping that someone will hit my bumper(s) and I will get to replace them with the SE version for hopefully no extra money, lol.

i feel better now that im not the only one that thinks that way:lol:
NICE kit.. GO GIANTS!
rocker panels

Hi, new here. I've been considering that same kit. How much lower are the RK Sport rocker panels. They don't appear much lower, or signifigantly different from stock. For that reason I was considering just the front and rear valence (since I'm on a budget).
Thanks
Back end

Looks great. Will you do a dual exhaust mod too?
Is the rk sport side skirt lower then the stock 1
