Hello folks, can anyone recommend rotors and pads for a not so premium quality 2013 Avalon XLE Premium? Been looking at RockAuto since money is tight and their prices are good. Not looking at the cheapest ones. I'm not a racer so don't need anything performance. Was looking at the Akebono pads but I noticed they don't come with hardware. Was thinking of the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. Not sure which rotors to get though. Would like something equal to or slightly better than OEM. Looking at spending a max of $250 in total.

The car has just turned 78000 miles. I'm not sure if these are the original pads and rotors as I've only had the car for just over 2 years when it had 30,000 on the clock.

It appears they are adding an "A" to the existing part numbers to designate the pads that have hardware included.

The ceramic pads on my Avalon do not provide enough "bite" under hard braking. I am going to try Raybestos Element 3 pads. They supposedly offer the best of both pad worlds.

Was thinking of the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads.
+1 for Wagner TC.

EBS Ultimax slotted rotors and Wagner TQ pads. Had them on all my cars- the best combination I've found

I have never replaced rotors on any of my Avalon or ES350 vehicles (5). The factory rotors should go 200k and my average pad life is 60,000 miles.

Bosch also has severe duty pads.

All hardware cleaned, inspected, replaced, greased... as needed and a complete all wheel brake bleed.

If you go Akeboner, get the ASP pads. PowerStop Z23's are another option.

Ended up buying Raybestos Specialty rotors and Akebono ProAct pads. Would have bought the ASPs but RockAuto didn't have the new part numbers that included the hardware and money is really tight so paying more for ASPs from somewhere else was not an option.
