RPM Variaton Causes Engine to Jerk

2010 Corolla::confused:
At 12K-14K...especially in humid conditions...RPM's will drop 200 and then go right back up again causing a jerk on the engine. It will even do it in neutral keeping the engine at 12K-14k.

It's really irritating especially when it repeats several times in a row... So far our dealership has been no help.

Anyone else out there with a similar problem?

Would like to hear from you...Steve

12-14k? Is this on a sport bike????
At 12-14k your engine has spit out some valve rocker arms and your lucky thats all it has spit out.
Now this one is for real, I have no idea what you mean by 12-14k, there is no way you can get those revs from that engine without total destruction.

And whatever it means, if your dealer can duplicate this but cant fix it or tell you why its doing it then you need to ask them if they have opened a TAS case asking for help to diag this.
