Rubbing? No Spacers needed!!!

I had rubbing problems at the front with my Yokohamas 215/45/17. I asked for advice on spacers, and it seemed it was not a good idea beacause that would wear out the bearings or possibly the hub. I replaced the front tires for 195/40/17 (originally when I bought the 215's they told me they did not sell a tire with smaller diameter. LIES!!! I tested the car thoroughly and there is no rubbing:clap:!

My question now is if there is a chart that compares speeds and mileage of the stock tires with the 195/40/17's
