This morning, I drove about a 15 mile round trip through town going about 40 on fluctuating terrain the whole time, and the temp. needle never passed cold. It only stayed at or below cold and would fluctuate from time to time. The temperature was 20, so it wasn't horrendously cold either. If this isn't normal, then I am guessing that it is my thermostat. There have been times in warmer temperatures when I have driven downhill for 20 minutes and the needle never moves, and other times when it will be at normal temp. and then run down to cold while going downhill.

By the way, I have a 22re and I have never, ever, even in the worst cases of me pounding the gas pedal on a hot day, seen that needle get more than a cm above the cold area. I think they normally run cold like that. And to boot, I always have warm air out of the blowers within 5 minutes of driving so I dont think its a problem.
