Safc Or Sacf 2 ?

Hey guys im stuck between what i should choose either an SAFC or SAFC 2. I saw that they are both pretty cheap on ebay top buy around $100 or so.

WHat is the difference between the two?
SHould i get the SAFC 2 since its a later version?
ANy advantages to the SAFC 2 over the older one?

Im planning to use it for my 1991 tercel with a 4E-FTE (EP-82) in it
THe 4e is a 1992.
Boost wise I only plan to run about 9 psi at first with the stick ct-9 turbo. Then i want to upgrade to a TD04 kit and run about 18 psi.
