San Diego Meet---(Near Fry's Electronics)

It's time for another San Diego Meet. This time we'll be staying within central San Diego. The meet will be held in front of PetsMart by the Fry's electronics store right off the 15 freeway near Qualcomm. Everyone is invited. Feel free to bring a guest. Please don't play loud music or burnout to attract attention. Thanks for your help guys. See you all there. Here's the information for the meet.

Location: PetsMart
3396 Murphy Canyon RD, San Diego CA. 92123

Time: 3:30-4:00pm

Food : (4:30pm) and the choices are: Togo's, Pick Up Stix, and Baja Fresh.
(All three restaurants are connected and share tables outside.)

Directions : Take the 15 south, get off on Aero Dr. and go right. Make an Immediate left on to Murphy Canyon Rd. Go until you see the Pet'sMart Parking lot on your right. Park in front of PetsMart, but all the way at the end of the lot (towards the 15). You'll see us all there.

98 corolla for me. everything looks fine for now just we have to deal with the 15....ugh first day of my senior year is the next day but im going it'll be cool

oh can my friend come hes got a z-car its a uh...87 i think but its really cool. hell its actually MADE in Japan unlike mine lol

The 15 around that area is fine on Sundays. There was no traffic when I went today. Yes you can bring your friend, but remember it's about Toyota owners getting together, and not about showing off other imports. It should be ok with everyone if he brings his car I'm assuming, but let your friend know that this is an all Toyota thing if he's coming.

I've been talkin to the guys at Solaraguy.com. I'm trying to get a few of them to come down from LA and it's surrounding areas for our meet. We'll know in the next few days if some Solara's are gonna make it down. I'll let you guys know if they are. They're trying to get a caravan going from LA, but only if enough people will do it. I hope we have a better turn out this time.

So Cal Meet- August

I went to another site and drop a invit for the next meet in San Diego. Just trying to get more people interested in showing love for the Toyota Name. Now if this was a Honda event everyone and there mother's would be repping. So, people if you see anyone or bump into anyone (with a camry or toyota) tell them and spread the word about the event.

Good call Peter. I've seen many nice lookin new Gen 5's with minor mods, that I could have talked to. I'll try to spread the word when I see people.

Solaras from LA.

As it turns out, 4-6 Solaras (Solaraguy.com) from the LA area will be caravanning down to San Diego the morning of the meet to do some sightseeing while they are down here. I'll be meeting up with them to get brunch, and then go on a quick 3-hour tour of San Diego before the meet. If any of you guys could come and help show them around town, that would be really great. Just let me know if you can hang out. Thanks for helping make this happen guys. I look forward to seeing you all at the meet.

I'm a morning person. I can make it. What time are the solara owners driving down? I might be able to get in the caravan from the 15.

Right now Mike and Milt and a few others from Solaraguy.com are disscussing leaving early around 9AM or so to get here by 11 for brunch. It's gonna be an all day and night thing, since they're comming all the way down for our meet. Let's keep spreading the word and make this bigger than last time.

Sorry to let you guys know but an unfortunate incident is keeping me from making it to the meet. My camry was hit and run at my girl friend's apartment parking lot. I cannot afford to miss work. Hopefully it will get fixed by the next time we all meet up. My gen 2 is hurting and so am I. I really wanted to come and I was really excited too to show off my newly painted cam. I guess the day will have to wait...

Just to give you all an update on the meet. The time might be a little closer to 3:30 PM rather than 3. This is due to the tour of San Diego that morning for the LA Toyotas. I've dropped a message at VVTI and a couple of their Corollas may attend. One of their members is actually gonna try to get Celicas to go from Celica.net. The turn out is gonna be better this time around. many of our own people have dropped out though.
