Only when we first start up the car. Otherwise, our phones connect right away. Something else I noticed, the screen only displays the camera view when backing up. I suppose I shouldn't be fiddling around with the setting at that time anyway. (iphones 6 and 7th gen.)
I wonder which would cost less to own if you kept it for 15 years and 150K-300K miles?
With Hybrid, you have higher up front costs, but save on fuel and brake pads and planetary gear system should last the entire life of the car. However, before 15 years, it will likely need a new battery...
I love my little 2010 corolla it's been a great car but i am over 160,000 miles and have been wondering if a hybrid corolla should be my next car but i do not think hybrid cars save you any money in the long run. I keep my cars for as long as i can until they cost more to fix than they are...
Just bought a new Toyota Corolla Hybrid 2020
been using it for a month now and de sided to checkout all the controls and features.
When I am in ECO mode and at a dead stop, I push the button EV mode and I get a message on the dash that says " EV MODE UNAVAILABLE HYBRID BATTERY LOW"

Haven't been able to find how many Corolla Hybrids have been sold to date. Anyone know? Total Corolla sales are available but haven't seen a separate number for the Hybrid.
Bought ours in early January. No issues at 1500 miles. Cold here in Michigan, probably effects mileage and battery.
NHTSA indicates there are/were two recalls. Typed in my VIN number on the NHTSA site searching for recall info and no recalls came up. Whats up with that?
