My 2017 unlimited hybrid makes this scrunching sound sometimes, not always, when braking and does it at times shortly after the car is off and parked, like it’s settling in place. Dealership checked the brakes and gave them an all clear. They reproduced the sound, but it’s not the brakes and it doesn’t happen all the time. Temperature and moisture seems to impact it too. Has anyone else experienced this and/or found a solution?

Have you or them been able to pinpoint where on the vehicle it may be? Front, back, left, right? My wife's had a squeak of sorts and it was the rubber bushing for the trailing arm. Went away after squirting it with silicone lube.
