I have been wanting to do this on my wife's car that has around 105k. Does anyone have a video or pics of the "exact" hose line that is being used while it is sucking up the SF from the can? I want to be 100% sure before I do this. Thanks!

Funny enough I just purchase a can to use for my '03 Corolla with 105k miles. After bouncing around forums and sites to learn exactly how to get it into the intake, I finally got scared off from doing it at all.
Putting it in the gas though has shown pleasing results.
If you do end up doing the oil or intake, please post your results! Good luck!

There are 2 lines just above the throttle body, not on the throttle body, Pull one at a time and feel for a vacuum while the car is running and dump the 1/3 of a can in their slowly, if you have a pic of the lines, above the TB, I could show you. The line is a rubber hose that has covered by black braided thread. I have an 05 that is DBW, and the vac lines are a bit different so I cant show you mine.

you can pull your PCV valve line (typically run from the engine valve cover to the intake)

on a 1ZZFE from 8th gen corolla the PCV valve is on the driver side of the valve cover towards the exhaust manifold. engine cover needs to come off to get that

or you can pull the brake booster vacuum. it's just the rubber line off of the brake booster.

I used the brake booster vacuum line on my Tacoma. It did throw a code causing the check engine light to come on. Once I cleared it it was fine. It smoothed my idle out a little. It wasn't really bumpy before, but after treatment was a little smoother. Otherwise I don't notice anything different at 45K.

i did it in my 8th gen, smoothed out idle a tad bit, but nothing really noticable, i don't think i'd do it again, just all the smoke, hassle, minimal gains isn't really worth it to me.
