Seat Cover Replacement - OEM

Hi,
I have a 2008 Highlander Sport with Ash/cloth interior. I discovered today that someone sat in the right rear, second row seat with something sharp in their pocket. There is a nice :)headbang:) 2" slice in the seat cover. I was looking at "no heat" repair kits, but am leary on how this will look since the car is new and I plan to keep it for a long time.
A friend recommended looking for a replacement seat cover since it is new there is not an issue with fading. I went to ebay and sure enough I found a new set of OEM seat covers that came out of an 09 Sport that was converted to leather. I bought them.

Can someone provide me with instructions on how to remove and replace the factory seat cover? How difficult. Are there special tools required?. Does the seat have to come out? Should I take it to a pro? can I do it my self (I am handy..:naughty:)

Thanks
Chris

You should have converted to leather too! I would take it to a pro because it would drive me NUTS trying to get it on!
My HL is already in leather but I am changing my '08 Camry from cloth seats to leather seats. I'm done with the back seats and will start with my front seats this weekend. You will need hog rings and hog ring plier to complete the job. Buy a pair of good hog ring plier and not the cheapo stuff (learn it the hard way) and you might need bigger hog rings than those come with a kit. It's not hard if you do some research before hand. See the following link to give you an idea how to do this:

Good luck!!!
