Hello,

After I buy the crossbars, I've found a way to tie down a canoe in front by purchasing a 2nd Screw-in Toe Eye (1 of which comes in every jack kit), but the back is a mystery.

On the driver's side in the back there is a little rear tow loop one could tie through, but there isn't one on the other side. Basically, i just need something sturdy to tie onto and the 2018 Rav4 hybrid doesn't have any other sturdy loops so far as i can tell. Any advice?

I'm leasing, so I can't go welding another loop thinger on the passenger side.

Thanks,

Andy

Those are not toe loops, they are used when car is transported to tie it down to a trailer or a carriage. But it does not matter for your purpose.Just don't use them for towing.

Look at the bumper. Is there a square plastic insert in it, hopefully, on the opposite to loop bumper side? If there is one, you are lucky, that's where the toe hook is inserted. You can remove the plastic plug, screw in the toe hook, which should be next to your jack, and voila. There's also one in the front.
