hello all,

i'm looking to buy a 1st gen Sequoia and i'm looking for some info on the various shifter configurations. is there any logic to why some 'trees' have the 4hi-N-4lo shifter on the floor (center floor console) and others seem to only have buttons? is this difference year-specific? (doesn't seem like it from what I can tell) or is it connected to trim levels? any help would be appreciated, thanks!

2001-2004 models had a tree and buttons. 2005-2007 only have buttons.

This is true regardless of trim level.
