So just recently bought 01 Corolla , it’s been having a shaky steering wheel while braking at higher speeds , i recently replaced left front side wheel bearing and spindle , sway bar link and sway bar bushing , it used to shake while braking at lower and higher speeds , now just higher lol , any recommendations? My brake pads are good both sides , front and back tires are good as well 80% of life . Can anyone give me insight where to start looking . Thank you !!

You need just to change the rotors. They're warped. All that other stuff you changed, well, now you know it's new stuff. Rotors are no big deal to replace- pull the calipers, slip the rotor off, slip a new one on and you're good to go. From now on, avoid riding the brake or braking constantly down long hills. Most commonly, overheating is what warps rotors. I don't care if it's $25 or $100 rotors, heat is not their friend. Another way to warp them is to let some goon with an air wrench overtighten the lugs on the wheels. They give it 100 Ft Lbs and a week later your car does the rumba every time you brake.

Replace the pads and rotors. Check calipers too. Sounds like 1 of the pads is stuck when applying the brakes. Add brake bleeding to your list.

At this age of vehicle treat the rolla for a brake refurb.

-AutoParts Store calipers (semi loaded w/bracket and hardware). Some folks recommend staying with the toyota calipers, and rebuilding them so theres that if you know what you are doing. But more then not, if you are DIYing this job, reman or even new calipers get the job done with less fuss.
-Raybestos or Power Stop Coated Rotors
-Matching pads from RB or PS
-Inspect the rears for some to gauge how much life is left. The majority of the braking and thus wear is in the front. If you have the funds, Drums, shoes at the bare mini, hardware and wheel cylinder if need be.

Front axle setup in parts should be $200 tops, Rear Axle should be $100.
