While most of you drool over an overpriced Supercar (LFA) that is out of reach for 99.999% of the population. You could be driving one of these:

2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 – 6.2L Supercharged Monster Rendered into Reality

Chevy’s upcoming Camaro Z28 is popping up all over the place, from spy photos to our imaginations. While no official pics have yet to be released, it won’t be long before we’re sure to see a fully uncovered version of the supercharged 6.2-liter Shelby GT500 rival. But why wait for official news from General Motors, when we can employ the talents of skilled artist Jon Sibal.

Both very nice, but both are grossly overpriced. A few rumors have the Z28 starting at 60k....

I doubt that. A new Z06 is only about $80K.

Even still, compared to cars from over the pond that they outrun, I would hardly say $60K is overpriced. ;)
I wouldn't call the LFA overpriced, just something I wouldn't spend my 375K on. The GT500 is not overpriced either IMO, but perhaps maybe to some Camaro owners because it's a Stang after all. I think it is a freakin' awesome, though I think most people like myself would be more than happy with a GT because it'll scare some M3 owners.
I do like the current GT500, and I commend Ford for stepping up. But I also like the classic Shelby's. Those are yummy!!

Of course the new 5.0ltr is nice too:D

The current one sounds nice and throaty, you don't hear much of that winning noise from the supercharger which is nice.
Both are very nice but very much overpriced. Id still take an LFA if I were to spend the money. Anyone can buy a Mustang or Camaro, very few people will have the chance to drive an LFA.
To each their own though...
Before I spend $60K to buy a new one, Id buy a '60s Mustang and rebuild it into the car that I want. I could make a car like that into a beast for a lot less money than what a new Roush Mustang would cost.
half the people here can't afford a $60k Camaro, lol

I could, but it would end up costing me a lot more than that after lawyer fees and child support for the next 7+ years.

For roughly $60-70k in the US?
I would consider a BMW M3 or a CTS-V.
I'll take the Super Snake version of the Shelby :naughty:
Mustangs and Camaros are both incredible cars, I wouldn't mind having either.

I just can't get enough of that deep throaty V-8 roar. Ford and Chevy both know what the hell they're doing and it's paying off.

I agree 100%. When the new Camaro came out, I wanted one SOOO bad, and I still do...but damn, if i were buying right now i would have to drive them both and see which one I liked better...it would be a tough decision for sure. maybe one of each? :D

No such thing as too much horsepower :D

thats why its called a supercar  it wouldn't be a dream car if you can afford it

No, a ZR1 is a supercar and it is my dream car and I could afford one. I just have other priorities at the moment. ;)

Actually, you have one. It's just that you have to tow it around on dryland. :D
awesome.

my only gripe with the bowtie: the z28 is positioned higher than the ss. chevy should've used the "z28" nameplate first imo, then slap on the "ss" on this monstrosity.

i'm just nitpicking.
If I were in the market for one of these beasts, my money would go towards a Z28.

I don't think that I could live with having a live axle in a $50K+ car.
