Hey, does anyone know of a good product to shine up the alloy wheels? Of course I want something thats not going to be damaging in any way, but I think it would look great to get those babys shining. Thanks Carl:whatwhat:

Meguiars has several products that will work and not damage the wheel......check your local auto parts store.....
The alloy wheels are clear coated, so don't use a metal polish. Don't use any mag or aluminum polish. It won't do anything, except make the clearcoat finish look hazy. You need to treat your wheels just like you do your body paint.

Just wax 'em. Or use regular polish first if there is some stuck on or embedded dirt.

Also be careful with spray wheel cleaner. Don't use anything real strong. I just wash the wheels with a mitt and soap, once I am done with the body. Always do the wheels last; you don't want to rub the body paint with a mitt that has brake dust in it.
I just use orange blast to clean them. Then finish them off with wax. Have done this for years.
Take a look at the PREMIUM of car care. They have some of the BEST wheel cleaner you'll ever use. It comes with a sweet little sponge, and this stuff smells FANTASTIC:

If you really want them to shine chrome them!
Thanks guys, I am going to go wax them. The shiner the better next to this black sand peal, I really like the contrast. Told the wife to make sure to miss the puddles!
She just laughs. Oh well....thats life.
i just use simple green... lol, maybe im just ghetto.

To be safe, dilute Simple Green 1:1.

A cleaner will just make them clean. To make them really shine you need to add some gloss (wax).
