Sleeper???

It's good or bad depending on what you what. A sleeper is a car that looks stock or slow but is really fast. Say a car looks beat up and you race it and get your doors blown off. That's a sleeper.

Quite a nice sleeper around here... it's an old rusty 4-door Civic, late 80's I'd say. Blown struts in the back so the rear is lower than hell, looks like absolute crap straight from the ghetto with a giant APC fart can... Saturday night I saw him beat a modified MR2 Turbo! When the Civic let off at the end of the race I heard a big ass blow off valve

1JZ-GTE is the engine I would love to drop into an 1980's rust bucket toyota pickup (with stock 14's) liberal use of duct tape would add to the effect...

even before i started getting into cars... i always thought having sleeper status is infinitely cooler than having a car that looks good and goes fast, because theres nothing like proving some lil bastard ricer that his car is crap. imo sleepers drop jaws even lower.

another example of a sleeper would be that guy who used ot be on vvti with a AE92 stock lookin, original paint, all faded, and he had a custom 5sgte hybrid in there:lol: that thing was pretty quick

It WAS quick. Now it's dead. Got rear ended by someone a while back. The engine has made its way into another vehicle, I believe.

And 194autocamry, those are two sets of rims. Fronts are Cressidas, rears are Supras.

it was an SHO model so i had a Super High output yamaha 3.0L V6. and it was modified to hell!!

(Super Charger, and alot of other stuff. Bored Intake manifold, Modified Secondarys, Port Polish, Dual Ehaust with h pipe.) i think he seed close to 500+ HP

pretty much untuned on stock boost.

There's an early 80's Tercel with a funky rear-end up the street from my house that I would love to get my hands on and turn into a sleeper.. blacktop 20V or 4AGZE into that little sucker.. or maybe a 3SGTE! hmm.. the car is so mint though.. I don't even think the lady that drives it has even put 100,000km's on that car.
