Plasti-dip'd a mock up for an idea of the final result.

Still in the process of sanding everything down. I dunno about the DIY's on here about taking them apart, but I'm 95% sure mine didn't have any glue holding it together. Tried to bake it and heat gun it to no avail.

I decided to dremel it out and along the way I cracked it in some parts... Any ideas on how to hide it? I'm considering eyelids for the top portion, however the only ones I could find were a set of vinyls on eBay.

I'm gonna paint the inside of the of the lens to cover up where I'll bondo/glue it all together.

Critique, advice, suggestions?

Left some of the grooves on it.. some parts still need more sanding. I also decided to plasti-dip eyelids on. Didn't do the passenger side yet.

Nice styling exercise! Works pretty good, except for lineing up the lines.. sure you were waiting for that. I think it will look good, but the call for a further back pic. are definitely in order.

Gonna redo the lens and align it better this weekened. Hopefully I'll have time to do the other side also.
