Figured I'd share what I've been up to, as i kind of disappeared for a while.

I still got the Camry, now donated to the girlfriend, this is what I've been up to lately... an 08 G35X (awd), bought about a year ago. I was seriously considering and leaning on buying the Gen6 camrySE before buying it, but the test drive in this one sold it. (Still got love for the Gen6 though)

Rims are 19" "Sport Tuning - Propellers" 10 spoke, and the car's dropped on eibachs.

that looks freakin sweet man! i bet that thing hauls ass! IIRC, isnt it intelligent AWD where it switches from RWD to AWD?
^yes, intelligent awd,
it's RWD bias, where from dead start, the first 30ish km/h or so starts 60rear/40front, after that it fades to 100% rear. then any time the car loses traction, feels a slip or begins to fish tail, it will distribute power to the front up to 50/50 temporarily until it overcomes the slip, then fades back to 100% rear. Each wheel is sensored and the awd cpu will transfer different amounts of power / braking to each wheel as it sees fit.

it basically just gives confidence when on turns or bends that you wont lose control or fish tail it into a guard rail or ditch. winter driving is dream too.
^^wow thats really nice technology. I prefer the G sedans over the camry :). Keep looking good!
that is simple and clean

I heart that gen of the sedan too. not so big on the older ones with the boxier rear end though
Looking sweet...

Intelligent AWD ftw...
very nice upgrade.
awesome job on the mods. you on driver by any chance?
^yup, i'm on driver, some great guys there too
needs more cowbell.
I love Gs... very nice. Is there a way to turn that off so it is full time rwd?
^not that I know of, I heard with the older generation, you could pull a fuse out for the AWD computer and you're good to go with all rwd.

IMHO, i wouldnt mess with stuff like that. knowing how smart these computers are, who knows what would happen if you removed it..
^agree, if i wanted the rwd, i could have saved myself the money and just bought it from the get go. it is too bad though that there isn't the option. it would be fun to fish tail it occasionally.
Wow thats a nice buy. Love the look of it.
nice upgrade!
