A few of us will be meeting and going on a Holy Jim trail run tomorrow at around 10am. Just a chance to meet some new faces and a chance to run a trail with other tacos from this forum.
Main trial isn't very long but there are many fun side trials, mud holes and creek to drive through.
This trial is 2wd friendly and stock friendly, the first part of the trail is a private road but will take us to the National Forest trail entrance, where you can purchase a pass so you can park and hike.

We're also looking to plan a Main Divide run soon.

We are meeting at the subway in the Ralphs shopping center on Santa Margarita Parkway right before it the street ends at 10am. We will leave there around 10:15am that way those that are late will be able to meet us before the run.

hey guys,

too bad i didnt bring my truck today.... im at my parents house in lake forest... holy jims is about 10mins away... ive bin to jims a gazilions times..hehe..

i went to main divide yesterday via licoln ave in the 91fwy. it was fun. it is 2wd friendly.. i barely used my 4x4. climbed a mountain with my stock sport pckge... when the clouds are clear. i would definitly go again.. i only got pixs from my cellphone.... how about the 16th? any commers?

today was fun!!!

we were out there for around 3 to 3 and a hlaf hours. some of it was watching marines getting stuck on a log, then trying to get off it and becoming more stuck than originally.

as for the 16th... lets start gathering people!!

Ha yea that crazy guy getting stuck on the log...Took us till 1:30 when a jeep finally came and winched him out...

Sorry no pics, I WILL bring my camera next time and make sure to take tons of pics since I'll most likely be a passenger again (thanks Jose and Chaz!). I stuck around with Chaz till around 3:30 and we saw a ford that high centered and caught some air with Chaz's crazy driving skills...

The run was fun, my stocky did just fine, the mud and huge puddles were a plus, can't wait to get my setup.
I should be able to make the main divide run but I'll probably stay on the main road this time, my stock street tires are getting chewed up and making me nervous.
