Just purchased a 2019 SE. Noticed this morning that when I unlocked my car and entered it (driver side door still open) that I could hear what sounded like a motorized/electric pump. It’s quite noticeable. Anyone familiar with what it is? It sounds almost identical to my portable battery/pump when the pump is running. Normal? Let me know if I need to provide a better description. Thanks, all!

It is the fuel evaporation leakage check system, from the manual “Approximately five hours after the engine is turned off, you may hear sound coming from under the vehicle for several minutes. This is the sound of a fuel evaporation leakage check and, it does not indicate a malfunction”
They are running a small pump to check for leakage.

Brake actuator will prime itself about same time. But that comes from under the hood and does sorta sound like a pump running. Same happens after you shut down the system, maybe 15-30 seconds after.

If you parked overnight, your vehicle is way past 5 hr evap priming window. So it's likely actuator.
