I am in the middle of replacing the valve cover gasket because it was leaking. My manual recommended replacing the spark plug tube gasket / seals while I had the valve cover off, however, I can't seem to get them off. Any tips? I've sort of torn apart one of the trying to remove it with pliers. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind ... I figured it out. Instead of pulling out the gasket, I went through the top of the cover and pushed the gasket out with pliers. It popped out with some extra pushing.
