ive heard really good things about these plugs

but i removed my plugs today and saw that these were in there

can i use those ngks without worry or do i have to get something like those stock densos with the dual little arm things (electrodes i think?)

The 5s-fe will be fine with or without dual electrode spark plugs. Denso and NGK are the two most popular brands. DO NOT USE BOSCH PLUGS IN TOYOTA ENGINES... they don't seem to jive to well or last that long.

Dual electrodes are a way to compensate for a waste spark system where the plug is sparked twice per cycle. I don't think the 5sfe is a waste spark system, but I'm sure they would last longer regardless. It's just adding more metal. You wouldn't notice any performance difference with or without the extra electrode. Technically one electrode should perform better as the gap has less metal enclosing it, but you wouldn't ever notice it.

I ran those for 50,000 (before it was wrecked) in my 5s-fe. You'll be fine. If in doubt, read the owners manual. :thumbsup:

I change my plugs once a year, whether needed or not, it's cheap insurance. Either NGK or Denso is fine, but, I recommend using the correct stock plug listed in the owner's manual. No way in hell will my plugs ever look like that one!!
