Well the spidertrax 1.25'' wheel adapters will be here today. im puttin em on because i like my 285's with the toytec lift on the stock wheels and its rubbin on the uca. ill take pics and post later because it will be very noticeable. i was also wondering if i could fit 305's after i put these on.

cool, take some before and after head on pictures so we can see the wider stance :)
also be sure to comment on the ride quality... I really don't think spacers are for me, but I am still considering them... you should be able to get 305s on, but may look stupid on the factory rims...
how much did you pay for the spidertrax?

99$ a pair and free shipping. but i overnighted them so he subtracted how much ground would cost. i called them and explained i needed them quickly and he got them out in about an hour. great service. 214 total. got them from 4x4rockshop.com. in actuality they arent as bad as an actual spacer. its almost like an extension of the wheel because it bolts directly onto the wheel then bolts on the the truck like a regular wheel would. heres a link to them. http://www.4x4rockshop.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=10887
Would this work?

cool thanks

And I am pretty sure you bolt them to the truck first, then putt the wheel on like normal.

Wait... you bolt them to the wheel first? How do you reach the studs on the hub? :whatthe: I thought they bolted to the hub, then you put the tire on and did the lugnuts for the tire to spacer's studs....

So I agree, post pics!!!
logically i would think that you would have to bolt them to the hub first beacuase if you bolted the spacer on the wheel you wouldnt hace access to the nuts for the hub. maybe im wrong:confused: so show us pics

Here are some temporary pics for those of you that don't know how to use google;)

Except neither one specifically say they are for 05+, even though they have the correct bolt pattern.

lol i didnt mean to confuse everyone like that haha. yes you do bolt it on to the truck first. but when you think about it, if you could bolt it on to the wheel first it would pretty much just be part of the wheel. sorry to confuse everyone.
Spidertrax

Just talked to Spidertrax yesterday and they said the WHS 007 (late model Toyota) would fit my 05 Taco 4X4 and that they would get them in next week. Xmas probably wiped them out. Post those pics because I am on the bubble about buying them too.
lol get this. i just got them here and there was a box with two boxes in it. the two boxes were sealed from spidertrax. i opened the first box to find two adapters and the 12 nuts as i had expected so i rush out to take pics and put them on then open the other box and i find two adapter and... wait no nuts lol. so spidertrax forget to put in the set of nuts for that box so yay! <--- an act of extreme sarcasm. so now i can only put them on the front until i get more nuts!!! (all of the exclamation points actually interpret to being pissed off and cussing, not happy.)
very nice.... they had better overnight those to you for free then... post pics of the front anyways..
well, you will still be able to get the important part done the front, and fortunatley it is literally half the work, its not like a temporary thing, front and rear or separate so you won't have to redo anything...

But lets get some pics up!!!!
ok well i found them at napa. they are going to reimburse me. i have 3 done and came in to get a drink b4 i do the last. it is very noticeable in the back but looks good. they blue looks cool haha. ill finish drive it then post pics in about 20
awesome... dang, you really wanted those things on didn't you? I think that's worse than me even! HAHAHAHAHA
Looks great.... They seem like a good quality... I may have to get these if I get rims that are rubbing my calipers..So does everone agree this is the best way to go if you have a caliper rub or a uca rub issue?? for the price and all...?

ok here are the results

these things are amazing. i love them. they are very well made. i feel as just as confident with these as i would with new wheels. i had just had my tires balances yesterday and it was riding perfect and it pretty much still is. i can barely notice a bit more stability. not much though. but thats obviously gunna be there because its gettin 2.5'' wider. i have a little rubbing on the front black plastic piece but it can be trimmed easily. locktite was provided and i even got 3 pieces of candy as a gift from 4x4rockshop. i called them about the nuts and the called me back in 10 minutes with the part number from spidertrax. so i went to napa and got em. i think it looks pretty good. give me some opinions and questions if any
