Sputtering after starting

I have a 95 T100 V6 that I'm having an issue with that I hope you guys can help me with. After the truck starts, it sputters/stutters for about 45 seconds and then idles and drives fine. It happens everytime I start the truck.

I was under the truck the other day and noticed, what I think is the o2 sensor on the exhaust had wires that were broke. Could this be the problem?

Any info you guys could supply would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, it could be the O2 sensor...but that has to get fixed regardless:). It may also be a dirty throttle body, clogged fuel filter, or leaky injector(s) (they leak after the engine is shut off and flood a cylinder until its burned off). You may also have a sensor like the MAF starting to go bad. I am sure a few people here will have some other things to suggest as well. Let us know what you dig up.
I would start with the O2's like SC said above, you are gonna want to fix them anyways. Also I assume you will be throwing a Check engine light? Go to autozone or orielieys and have them read the codes for you! Best of luck let us know what the codes are!
I know that after I went through and did a ton of "routine" maintenance on my truck, I had a sputtering issue. It turns out that one of the vacuum lines coming off of the power steering pump was cracked. I replaced it and problem solved.

I am inclined to think like Wolf, if the 02 sensor wires were broken, you should be throwing a code.
