I have an '02 4x4 V6 and EVERY time I start my rig it squeals. Usually for just a second or two. I've been told it's cause it's cold but it's not always "that cold" outside. Just wanted other opinions. I'm guessing it's a belt but not sure which one. Could one be dirty or loose? I bought my rig used from a Toyota Dealership August last year and it had the 90,000 mile tune-up done with a timing belt replacement in July 2007.
Appreciate the help,

This probably due to condensation or moisture from rain accumulating on the belt and pulleys. I'll bet it goes away after about a minute right? And I will bet ya it's been very humid or raining the night before right?

Just an old trick, if you grab the serpetine belt at the middle between the longest point and are able to twist is 90 degrees is is too loose..... My RX300 did exactly the same thing until I tightened the belt.

IF the problem is a belt slipping, it should squeal when you goose the gas in neutral. Then you can have someone under the hood to listen where the squeal is. If you can't make the squeal in neutral, I would look at the drive train. Maybe the brakes.
