I am so glad that I found this info... From what I had read, the only way to clear the light was to take it to the dealer. My airbag light came on after the battery was disconnected while the key was still in the ignition.
It took a couple of tries to reset it, but I was trying to make it more dificult than it was. I used the seat latch as the ground. It is like beating a drum with two sticks. Start out with the leads from one that it says and ..... One , two, one , two, one ,two, one.( Ending with the one that you started with).... And hold for a second .... Watch the light flash rapidly for two seconds, and DONE... No more airbag light !!!! WOOOOO HOOOOO !!!!
