Ok so I've lifted the Tacoma (spacer/block lift). Put the Flowmasters on, bought the tires and wheels. Basically I've taken the first step of modifications. Now its time for stage 2, and I'm wondering what all I should do next. I have a short list of what I'm thinking of doing, but I'd like some opinions...

1) BHLM
2) Custom color-matched grille
3) Tinted tailights
4) I guess TC UCA's since everyone swears by them

I've done a lot of forum searching and gotten many ideas. I'm really interested in any mod that will help the quality of my truck. Examples are the UCA's, no one really notices them until they would drive it. I'm considering switching out the block and doin an AAL? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks :thumbsup:

i dont like the chrome piece going around the emblem. looks cheap so im gonna have that painted to match the truck and just have the emblem be all thats chrome on the grille

Isn't that chrome just stuck on there with double sided tape or something? Can't you just remove it?

sounds like you got your next mods numbered in the correct order to me. just do the 4 you have listed. after that its time for an All-Pro front bumper and some sliders. :thumbsup:

Nope that bad boy is heated and molded to the surround.

Good luck w/ that! People have tired to prep it, krylon, and clear it = no bueno! :thumbsdow I went the other route prep it, 3M texture coat = durable and badass bro! :thumbsup: Yes, I haven't show pics yet, but I will shortly.

He is talking about the gay chrome grille insert off of eBay. That just comes right off and is held on by double-sided tape. He has a TRD Sport, so his grille surround is color-matched already.

That is what he has on his truck that some are confused about. Look at his signature picture. He should be able to just remove it and not get a new grille. Probably the same deal for the chrome side mirrors.

hmm i think you are right. i dont have my truck to look at but that chrome grille might just be a piece you stick on with double-sided tape. thanks for pointing that out guys. i woulda went to the paint shop and sounded like an idiot lol. so that's taken care of :thumbsup:. so besides what i have listed, can anyone think of any other mods that should be done?
