nice setup Rob, VERY clean.
Rob, that setup looks great. If I didn't have to give up my storage space back there behind the rear seat, I'd think about doing the same.

By the way, does your Night Vision mirror work and dim all right with your middle headrest in place?
That is VERY bad ass. Will you come to CA and do that to my truck?
thx,

wow that looks Really good bud, how do they sound?
They sound very nice. The bass is very tight and it makes my mirrors move if I feel like a ton of bass.
Have you tried putting the bigger amp on the bottom and the smaller one on top, and centered?
Might make it look a little cleaner.

Looking good though.

Such a perfectionist  But i agree:) really a sweet setup you have there.
....

I am running active . . .
Alpine 9853,
Diamond 600s fronts,
The 4 channgel amp is putting 75 (each) watts RMS to the mids and 75 (each) watts RMS to the tweets. The mono amp is putting out 500 watts @ 2ohms to the two subs.

Very nice tight clean bass. Listen to a variety of music on my ipod (about 9K songs) . . .

Most people can't believe the amount of sound from a stealth system. My brothers jaw DROPPED, when I turned it up. He has a nice system in his car, but could not touch the SQ in my taco . . .

I removed the plastic because it would "vibrate" from the subs.

Overall I am very pleased with the system. No changes planne for a while.

CAM, the larger amp will not fit below, the seat bracket will not allow the larger amp to be installed below. . . .

thanks for the thumbs up . . .
Amazing set up you have there.

so no rears... how hard was it to tune? did you sound deaden everything?
and how is the base compaired to the single 8" kicker you had?
...

Hey guys thanks for all the Kudos!! Here are the answer to the questions that I found. If I missed any - fire away.

what kind of amps are those?
Polk Audio C400.4 and C500.1

so no rears... how hard was it to tune? did you sound deaden everything?
Cam gave me some pointers on the settings, it was pretty easy. Have not messed with the timing, still sounds amazing. I want some rear fill (a little) and yes I have fatmat everywhere.

and how is the base compaired to the single 8" kicker you had?
The kicker HITs very hard at high volume. The SQ of he kicker is pretty good in a small box. Most people dog Kickers but the smaller solobarics sound good. They require a lot of power. The IDs sound good at lower levels. The Kickers have to be cranked. So you have to decide what kind of music and how loud. If you tailgate a lot, I think two kickers are the poop. But for sQ at low volume the IDs are better.

Do you have 2 single 10" boxes or the 1 dual 10" box?
The dual box is two 10" subs and an amp board that you attach with l brackets.

How do you find the lack of plastic on the back of the seats.

I work in construction in the summer, and it would not be uncommon to throw somthing in the back seat from time to time. Having te plastic i think will be a benifit.

I also want a system. Im starting with a New head unit and Speakers.

So far this is what im doing.
Head unit - DXZ955MC
Rears - Fusion 6-9's (260 watt) from my old car so free)
Fronts (not sure need to buy them as of yet)
Amp ( have a Pheonix gold Tantrum 300.2 from old car)

Im thinking of hooking the amp up to either the fronts, or rears, im not sure which (its only 2 channle). I hope that will get me enough base, if not i will purchase a single 10 to put in the back, but i really dont like the idea of losing the plastic.

What do you guys think? would you put the amp to the front or rear speakers to get better overall quality, but still get a decent amount of base.

^To the front speakers for sure.

Fronts are more important in my opinion. I like rear fill, but can't imagine a system with just rear fill . . .
I really did not need the plastic, but if I do later . . .I may add a tool box or retrax. Have not decided yet . .

You will NOT get enough base with REARS maybe with some good 6x9s up front.
