Hey guys need a little advice. i hace a 1977 toyota truck and i have replaced most of the steering joints but i would like to adjust the steering gear box. It still has about 2 inches of play left in the steering wheel. does anyone knoe the best way to do this, how to do this? thnaks

Usually (not sure on this truck) there would be a nut with an adjuster bolt that goes through it somewhere on the box. Loosen the bolt, tighten the bolt into the box slightly and then tighten the nut back up while holding that bolt still.

jetrink is correct, and it's hard to say how much play you can adjust out of a 34 yr old steering box.
